SIBERIAN LARCH CLADDING
19mm x 145mm x 4m

Description
Siberian Larch is a highly versatile timber product and is a preferred choice for timber cladding by architects and self-builders. With a durability class 3, it has an anticipated service life of 20-30 years (untreated). The high resin content found in Siberian larch makes it one of the most durable softwoods in the world. Siberian larch trees grow very slowly and consequently the larch wood is extremely dense and strong when compared to other softwoods such as spruce and cedar. The density of Siberian Larch is 590 kg/m3 (mean, Kg/m³) and ranges from 570 kg/m3 to 650 kg/m3
Displaying a clean natural yellow/straw colour, Siberian Larch will offer a sophisticated look to any project.
Siberian larch, which is a straw colour, similar to pine, should not be confused with the European larch growing in Britain, which is a dark pink colour. Unlike European larch, the knots in Siberian larch cladding are a lighter grey colour and tend to stay solid even after drying and machining. For this reason, we tend to favour Siberian larch over British larch for machined cladding profiles.

THERMO ABACHI CLADDING
24mm x 145mm x 2.15m
£31.20 + VAT per board
Abachi is a type of African wood which grows in Africa. This material feels nice to the touch and has beautiful smooth and fine structure.
But the main property of Abachi is it's low thermal capacity and the lack of in-depth warm-up. It's main advantage does not simply lie in the fact that the Abachi shelf does not warm up to the temperature of the surrounding environment (for example, hot sauna), but rather in the fact that it takes over the temperature of the body of the person who sits on it very quickly. Abachi has excellent thermal insulation properties (when the temperature in the sauna is 90-110°C, the temperature of the Abachi shelf surface does not exceed 40°C).
The temperature made the wood a chocolate brown.
The wood can be unpainted, only unpainted will look like larch. You can paint it in a colorless oil. The wood can be very brittle, be careful with assembly. The wood does not bend and does not deform, it does not pull water.
* If you do not paint it, it will be bright, and when it rains it turns black.

Meranti - (Latin Shorea spp.)
It is native to South and Southeast Asia. The color of the wood ranges from light gray to dark reddish brown. The meranti facade requires maintenance with chemicals. The wooden facade will allow for the original finishing of the house. Apply the product to the entire building or decorate only part of the facade, e.g. at the front door. The use of wood on a fragment of the façade will optically change the building's proportions. The external cladding will also provide better acoustic insulation and thermal comfort. A wooden facade will be perfect if your home is among trees. Thanks to boards made of natural raw materials, you will integrate the building into its surroundings.
The wooden facade is so universal that it fits both modern and classic buildings. The outer cladding is made of meranti - a species from Asia. The wood comes in a variety of colors - from gray-brown to red-brown. The use of an exotic species is a guarantee that the facade will retain its aesthetic appearance for a long time. The durability of the cladding can be extended by preserving with chemical agents. The product can be used to decorate not only houses, but also restaurants and office buildings.

Timber of the western hemlock has a natural lustre. The tree's heartwood has a pale, cream colour with distinctive growth marks and a fairly even texture. This beautiful pale timber produces few knots and displays a uniform, attractive grain. Sometimes western hemlock can display a slight lavender cast, especially around the knots and in the transition area between the spring and summerwood growth rings. Attractive, delicate, dark grey or black streaks may be apparent in the wood. There is little variation in colour between the heartwood and sapwood, and they are often indistinguishable from one another.
The timber works readily with all hand and machine tools with little dulling effect on cutting edges. A good finish is obtained in planing and moulding, but cutters must be kept sharpened. It can be glued, stained, painted and varnished, and takes a good polish.
